The first and only in the World …Silk Road Train

The “Silk Road Turkish Commercial Products Fair”, the first fair of the world organized in a train by Forum Fairs, was realized in 2005. Fairs were organized in 7 cities (Tabriz, Teheran, Mashed, Ashgabat, Dushanbe, Almaty and Astana) within the scope of this Project extending to Iran, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan starting from Turkey and aiming to establish the first step of a wide economic cooperation between the countries on the route. Silk Road Train completed the long journey of 10.560 square kilometers in 39 days. During the journey, in addition to 19 exhibition containers, the leading companies of Turkey as well as their international trademarks took place. Approximately 4000 products were exhibited. “Silk Road Turkish Export Products Fair” was not only the first fair organized in a train. People were transported to Turkmenistan and the region after it for the first time with this train including the participants from companies, representatives of DTM (The Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade) and TCDD (Republic of Turkey, State Railways), the employees of our firm, journalists, doctors, the cooks and the waiters.
